Interactive property market map update


The Quick Move Properties interactive map has been updated with latest property market data...

Use this interactive map for a quick overview of the property market in each post code area. Made up of a fusion of five sets of data, this map offers a unique visualisation of the property market as it is and how it is changing.

Simply click into the post code area that you want to see, and the data will appear. At a glance, you can see if property is selling well in that area, along with if prices and transaction levels are rising or falling.

Shading denotes the percentage of properties unsold in an area.
0% - 10% Red
11% - 20% Orange
21% - 30% Yellow
31% - 40% Green
41% - 50% Turquoise
51% - 60% Mid blue
61% - 70% Dark blue
71% - 80% Pink
81% - 90% Purple
91% - 100% Grey

Data calculation:
Number of properties on the market in each postcode area - calculated from data published by Zoopla showing properties for sale in a given area (accurate to 95%).

Number of properties sold/unsold in each postcode area - calculated from data published by Zoopla, showing which properties are under offer or sold subject to contract in a given area (accurate to 95%).

Change in average house price - the change in the simple average house price for each post code area from the same quarter of the previous year, as published by Land Registry. Adjusted for inflation.

Change in number of sales - the change in sales for each post code area from the same quarter of the previous year, as published by Land Registry.

Average time on the market in each postcode area - calculated from data published by www.home.co.uk, showing how long properties remained on the market before being sold, or removed from sale in a given area.

Purchases by Quick Move Properties - the number of properties purchased in a post code area by Quick Move Properties since 1998.
